1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to BrainBrew Quiz. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BrainBrew Quiz ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your access to and use of the BrainBrew Quiz mobile application on Apple iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing BrainBrew Quiz, you signify your agreement to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the app.

2. License & Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable limited license to download and execute BrainBrew Quiz for your personal, non-commercial educational and recreational entertainment.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content included in or made available through BrainBrew Quiz—including but not limited to trivia questions, question databases, scoring algorithms, software code, graphic designs, icons, badges, audio effects, and the "BrainBrew Quiz" brand trademarks—is the exclusive intellectual property of BrainBrew Quiz or its licensors and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, disassemble, reverse-engineer, distribute, or create derivative works from our app content without express prior written permission.

4. User Accounts & Security

When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or other authorized credentials:

• You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your Apple ID and device credentials.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

5. Fair Play & Acceptable Use Policy

BrainBrew Quiz thrives on fair competition and camaraderie. You expressly agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or third-party exploits to artificially manipulate quiz scores, speed metrics, or leaderboard ranks.
• Adopt offensive, obscene, defamatory, or hateful player display names.
• Interfere with, intercept, or tamper with the app's server communications or security mechanisms.
• Harass, intimidate, or exploit other players.

Any violation of this Fair Play Policy may result in immediate score forfeiture, rank resets, or permanent account termination without warning.

6. Trivia Accuracy & Entertainment Disclaimer

While our editorial curators work tirelessly to ensure the highest factual accuracy across science, history, geography, arts, and logic arenas, trivia content is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis for educational and amusement purposes. BrainBrew makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding complete factual infallibility.

7. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions (If Applicable)

Any digital goods or optional premium subscriptions offered within BrainBrew Quiz are processed exclusively through Apple’s App Store In-App Purchase system. Billing, renewals, and refunds are governed by Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You can manage or cancel auto-renewing subscriptions at any time via your iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the in-app Profile > Settings > Delete Account option. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct detrimental to the community.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BrainBrew Quiz and its officers, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app publisher operates, without regard to principles of conflicts of law. Any claims or disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or binding individual arbitration.
