You may use BrainBrew Quiz as a guest without creating an account. If you choose to personalize your journey or sync progress across devices, we support:
- Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In: We receive a unique identifier and, at your discretion, your name and email (including Apple's private email relay).
- User Profile: Your customizable player handle (e.g., "Novice Brewer", "Tamim") and selected profile avatar badge.
B. Gameplay, Stats & Streaks Telemetry
To enable core trivia functionality, your gameplay records are recorded:
- Quiz completion history, question responses, and accuracy percentages.
- Daily streak counts, streak multiplier statuses, and best scores.
- Topic preferences (such as Science, Animals, History, Tech, Entertainment).
- Earned achievements and milestone badges (such as "Night Owl", "Novice Brewer").
- Weekly and All-Time leaderboard standings and exam tallies.
C. Device & Technical Diagnostics
To ensure pixel-perfect rendering across varied screen sizes (iPhones, iPads, and Android smartphones and tablets):
- Hardware model and operating system version (iOS/iPadOS).
- Anonymized crash reports, memory logs, and latency metrics to quickly squash bugs and prevent freezes.
3. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is strictly used to:
- Deliver fresh, daily curated quizzes matched to your knowledge arena preferences.
- Calculate, maintain, and publish your standings on the global and weekly leaderboards.
- Preserve your daily streak multipliers and badge progress across app sessions.

4. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure
BrainBrew Quiz utilizes carefully vetted industry-standard service providers who comply with privacy regulations and Apple's Developer Program standards:
- Apple Inc.: For Sign in with Apple authentication, iCloud Keychain synchronization, and App Store transaction verification.
- Cloud Infrastructure & Telemetry: Secure cloud servers (Firebase / Google Cloud Platform) for real-time leaderboard aggregation and anonymized crash reporting. These providers process data solely on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
5. Account Deletion & Data Erasure (Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v))
We respect your right to be forgotten. In accordance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v), BrainBrew Quiz provides a straightforward, fully automated in-app mechanism for users to initiate permanent deletion of their account and all associated records.
How to Permanently Delete Your Account & Data:
- Open the BrainBrew Quiz app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Settings (Gear Icon) > Select "Delete Account".
- Confirm your decision. All player scores, streak records, exam history, and account credentials will be permanently erased from our databases within 24 hours.
Alternatively, you may email us directly at imran.bu96@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Erasure Request" from your registered account email, and our security team will process your purge manually within 48 hours.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
BrainBrew Quiz is rated for general audiences and does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will promptly delete that information.
7. Data Security & Encryption
All communication between the BrainBrew iOS client and our backends utilizes Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) encryption. Sensitive user data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 protocols.
